Teleportal Video is a platform for StarLightMedia's video content. It allows you to view products from company-owned TV channels - STB, Novy Chanel, ICTV and more. For the most part, these are entertainment products or serials. Watching is easy and convenient. Suitable for individual viewing and a cosy evening with family. Our team has developed an Android and iOS app for the client that provides the user with a range of suggestions for comfortable viewing of videos with or without a subscription.
Our goal was to create an application that would be visually appealing, convenient and as easy as possible to use.
It's no secret that classic television goes online. There are more prospects than on a regular TV screen. But there are more challenges: the internet user is demanding, does not always want to browse content with advertising or wants to view another product immediately after the previous one. How to get such a viewer interested?
For example, the Teleportal app has a lot of useful suggestions that make watching videos comfortable, engaging, and unobtrusive. Bilingual application lets you view series or streams.
The owner of such an application also has many benefits. There is an additional feature - the ability to monetize the viewings. For example, to watch another episode of the serial, you will have to watch several commercials. But if the user does not want to see the program, they can subscribe and watch the video without delay.
All this attracts users attention to the product and makes them direct participants in the TV process.

About the project
Luxnet has created an application for the StarLightMedia based on the Flutter cross-platform solution. In a four-month conclusion, a platform that makes watching videos comfortable on various gadgets has emerged.
Results
By developing Teleportal Video, Luxnet offered the best-sophisticated solution on the Ukrainian market for TV audience engagement through Second Screen. As a result, we have:
- the single app for iOS and Android which is based on the Flutter cross-platform solution (it optimized the cost of creating and maintaining the app)
- home video library on your smartphone with the ability to stream to other devices
- the service is economical in the development and maintenance
- this product allows users to customize templates and use them many times for different polls and competitions
- it supports sentiment analysis and different widgets to leverage this kind of data collection
- it uses a solution stack that can be easily distributed to millions of people at the same time, in comparison with the old-fashioned hardware dial
- all the results are aggregated in real-time and can be shown as part of a TV show.
